Our commitment to the environment and societyGreen technology is
just the beginning

With a clear vision for the future, we are committed to making a sustainable change that goes beyond mere lip service. Because what makes us truly sustainable is our active support for the circular economy with sustainable IT. To make IT sustainable, we reintroduce used hardware back into the product cycle, which prevents e-waste and new production.

Our goals with a lasting impact.

Education

We promote continuous learning and appreciation for education, both internally and externally.

Responsible consumption

Our IT refurbishing business reduces waste and promotes sustainable consumption habits.

Sustainable IT - small footprint, big impact

IT hardware consumes immense resources. But our refurbishing process offers a sustainable solution: less waste, more sustainability (SDG 12). We focus on transparency – regular environmental reports and continuous audits of our environmental management system ensure that you always have a clear overview.

With refurbished hardware, we work together to extend the service life of your devices, cut costs and reduce your ecological footprint. Our tools, such as the CO2 calculator, make your savings visible. This is good for the environment, promotes more mindful consumption and strengthens your company in the long term.

The goal – reducing our footprint

Our commitment to sustainable IT

What drives us: Shaping the future of I. As a founding member of the Digital Section of the German Association for a Sustainable Economy, we work together to promote IT regulations that drive sustainability in the industry. With certified remarketing, we promote responsible consumption in accordance with SDG 12. We are also working with multiple projects as part of SDG 4 to further education and awareness around sustainable IT hardware. As the winner of the German Sustainability Award 2024 in the IT services sector, we are using our position to bring about positive change in the industry.

The goal – increasing our handprint

IT education for everyone

We are all in the same boat – that’s why we are committed to equal opportunities and access to education (SDG 4) in the IT sector. By supporting NGOs and providing free IT training, such as video call training for employees of charity foundations, we pass on our knowledge to those who need it most. We also support hardware projects in schools to facilitate and promote access to digitalisation. These and other projects close to our hearts pursue a clear goal: Education for all – because without education, progress remains a privilege for the few.

If you want to change the world, you must start at home.

Said and done!

Projects for the environment

We donate a tree for every refurbished device with the organisation TPP in Bavaria and have cooperated with them several times to plant trees there. This type of sustainable mixed forest afforestation can bind 3434 tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere each year. With every tree we plant together, we can contribute to this important goal.

Social projects

Hardware donations to schools or the homeless: Access to hardware means access to education – and fewer barriers on the path to a self-determined life. For this reason, we promote digitalisation in schools by donating and providing hardware. We also support projects that provide hardware to homeless people.

Education and hardware for schools

In the E-Waste Race, up to ten schools compete with each other to collect electronic waste. This is practical environmental education – it promotes sustainable action in the region and makes its effects visible for better learning. In addition, used hardware from companies is provided free of charge, to boost digital education and the ESGs. Each reused monitor saves 420 kg of CO2 and shows pupils that ‘used’ can be better!

We can work together to make these and many other projects a reality and achieve our goals. Ready to make a difference with us?
